I had the opportunity to listen to a video recording of Wallace. D. Wattles' book -' The Science of Getting Rich - Your Master Key to Success'. Written in 1910 the language is a little antiquated and although spiritually radical for the time it bias by today's standards are a little Christian for my taste, I have to say both the video recording and the book are a powerful experience.

 Principles of the Book

• You must get rid of the last vestige of the old idea that there is a Deity whose will it is that you should be poor, or whose purposes may be served by keeping you in poverty.

Growing up in a nominally Christian society whose approach to money and abundance seems to be contradictory to say the least, Wallace.D.Wattles' idea here is very powerful. We all desire money as it is a measure of worth and value yet so many people (consciously or otherwise) appear to be caught in feelings of guilt or anger about money. Whether the individual is Christian, Atheist or of alternative spirituality that biblical idea relating to the love of money being the root of evil is evidently strong in western society, freeing oneself of it (the idea) is liberating.

• Give people more in use value than you take from them in cash value, then you are adding to the life of the world.

For me this is an extension of the Law of Reciprocity, if you wish to experience abundance cause others to experience abundance. Although many people still choose to 'scam' and 'spam' others in Digital Business there seems to be a growing modern understanding of this principle with entrepreneurs offering great value free, building powerful relationships on social media and finding ways to promote others above self.

• You must get rid of the thought of competition, you are to create not to compete...you do not have to cheat or take advantage. 

Wallace. D. Wattles over a century before his time articulated an experience that more and more taking hold now as a new consciousness and economy are birthing. The old dualistic ideas of competition right vs wrong, right vs left, good vs bad are gradually being replaced by visions of abundance that opens a new individual creative place for all, a place that doesn't exclude. This idea in practice is still very young but I predict it will become stronger and stronger. 

 Wallace. D. Wattles goes on to say that riches secured by competition are never satisfactory or permanent, they are yours today and another's tomorrow.

Reaching My Potential, My Spiritual Journey and Financial Freedom

This blog outlines:

• My journey of freedom form mental health nursing to working with Spirit.

My Spiritual Journey and Financial Freedom

After 15 years of mental health nursing in both the UK and New Zealand I reached an existential crisis in that I no longer accepted the defining principles of psychiatry or indeed the medical model. My own clairvoyance had been developing over a number of years and had reached a point where I could see that so much of what was dismissed as chemical in-balance and treated as such had a spiritual basis which could not be seen by an almost exclusively atheist profession. I yearned for the freedom to really engage in healing others, to think and experience unfettered by the limitations and cynicism so often propagated by those who work in forms of traditional health. More than that I yearned for the freedom to manifest money so I could do what I liked!

 Nearly seven years ago I left nursing for the last time, I experienced a shift from £35,000 a year to learning to manifest from a base of no money. Challenging as it was the freedom to build my business working with Spirit was great. The experience gave me hundreds of students in a number of different countries ranging from Turkey to Spain to South America, I published a book about my work, pretty much learned to speak Spanish and lived in a number of different countries. There was a limitation however, in reality financially the best I achieved on average would be about £2000 a month. For me Spiritual growth was about reaching my potential as a creator in every area of my life and reaching this understanding led me to a deeper realisation that financial growth was a prerequisite to growth in other areas of my life.

I loved my work with Spirit but I wanted to divorce it from being a path to directly paying my rent and generating my financial survival. So how then could I keep my spiritual work and yet generate serious abundance and financial freedom whilst being in tune with Spiritual Principles? As with the journey of Spirit still it was freedom I sought, freedom to live my life as I choose, I was no stranger to hard work and was prepared to place great energy in this journey of fulfillment. it was then I cam across the Six Figure Mentors (SFM) and the Digital Experts Academy (DEA) - what they were teaching was building a Digital Lifestyle of financial freedom which was underpinned by the Law of Attraction, the Law of Reciprocity and the principle of success coming from promoting others


. So how did it work?

  

Well primarily it is a school that teaches financial freedom and online business acumen and gives its students the ability and products to make money selling high ticket products with high effective levels of commission. How much commission depends on where you buy your position and training in the SFM/DEA sales funnel.

  There are six levels:

1. Basic level in the SFM,
2. Elite Level (SFM)
3. DEA Silver,
4. DEA Gold,
5. DEA Platinum and
6. DEA Black being the highest level.

  If you are for example a DEA Black member and you recruit a new student/affiliate reseller to the school you can earn £8000 commission. At present I am situated at DEA Silver level, recently I recruited someone who upgraded to DEA Black and was paid over £3000 commission and I have only been training a few months It seems the potential of realizing financial freedom and abundance here are very promising.

Recession, Poverty and the New Digital Economy

Poverty, Recession and the New Digital Economy.

This blog argues:

•  that perhaps what we are really seeing in the financial world, and the way we measure value, is a complete evolution or transformation of everyday life and perhaps humanity itself.
• the traditional economy worldwide is failing so dramatically, its recession bringing poverty at levels that makes recovery (in traditional senses) highly unlikely.
• the effective ethos of the New Digital Economy is beginning to effectively come into its own by teaching individual responsibility (Law of Attraction) and helping and promoting others (Law of Reciprocity).
• the effective ethos of the traditional economy: competition, dualism (right/wrong, left/right) is failing.
• the internet itself is creating opportunities that radically alter how we think, see reality and create meaning.

 

The Traditional Economy

1. As I wrote in my blog yesterday: US Debt Crisis, The World Economy and the Age of the Entrepreneur that due to the huge international debt crisis that the individual financially more and more cannot rely on the economy and the job markets s/he must create financial value for her/himself.
2. Today the BBC reports http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-24553611 that workers in the UK, according to the Social Mobility and Child Poverty Commission, in many cases are discovering that (traditional) work no longer pays enough to provide a route out of poverty. 
3. Overnight the US Government managed to reach agreement to postpone for 3 months a further debt crisis that in and of itself would have rocked the already extremely fragile world economy.
4. In much of the first world there is a welfare crisis. On the one hand any civilized evolved community would look after and provide for their vulnerable people, however on the other hand there are now so many people who are totally dependent on the state, undermining their creativity, personal growth and potential to lift themselves out of poverty, that the commitment to supporting the vulnerable looks more and more untenable.

It is absolutely clear that the traditional economy is now failing at every level...

 Poverty, Recession and the New Digital Economy.

The New Digital Economy/Internet There is a sense of a shared consciousness beginning to evolve:

• the concept of Interruption Marketing prevalent in the competitive consciousness of the traditional economy is less and less effective due to an oversaturation of advertising data and is more and more effectively being replaced by Permission Marketing where individuals give their consent to receive online marketing information.
• Entrepreneurs on the internet are demonstrating that even in a world recession it is possible to earn huge amounts of money online. The financial heart of this way of thinking is twofold:

1. Earning money online is a process of taking personal responsibility and using yourself (who you are) as your primary marketing tool ...The Law of Attraction.
2. The secret to effectively promoting yourself and your business is to help and promote others and to give freely to others ...The Law of Reciprocity.

Both 1 and 2 above are essentially the opposite thinking to that of the Traditional Economy, it doesn't particularly seek competition but uses the unique experiences of self to discover 'new clear blue water'. Indeed it is more and more understood that there is easily sufficient for everyone, the process of abundance is to do with how you think.. Conclusion It seems to me that:

1. We are here to live our lives on our terms, not for people you work for (traditional economy) not for the people in the media to define.
2. What if we chose this life for a reason, I bet that reason wouldn't be a reality created by others or a narrow box created by recession and poverty that it is impossible to break out of thinking the old (traditional) way!

Building a healthy financial base around who you are frees you to reach other areas of your potential, thus the internet itself is part of creating a different experience of reality and hence we partake as humanity evolves and we move from one measurement of value (economy) to a new one along with all the changes of ethics and value that that may bring. Perhaps indeed we are observing the birth pangs of a new way of being.

How Exquisitely the Individual Mind to the External World is Fitted

How much do you want abundance? Want is an interesting word as it implies a lack, so how much do you really choose abundance, are you simply a powerless player in the sacred drama of your life or do you get to rewrite the script, change the story, bring harmony between you desires and your experience? As Jay Kubassek stated in a recent webinar: An excuse is anything that stands between your current lifestyle and what it is you choose (or words to that effect) you have to decide that you are not going to tolerate your own excuses. Some of what Jay said reminded me a little of Don Miguel Ruiz and his work the Four Agreements

Agreement 1

Be Impeccable with your Word - I understand that being impeccable with your word towards your readers and (potential) clients is vital for success but surely being impeccable to your own word for yourself is even more important - you have decided to go for success - it is not your individual circumstances that prevent you, it is the addiction to the next million dollar idea adrenalin, the need for escape/pleasure/ the path of least resistance that leads you down that blind alley. Be impeccable to your own word follow through on your game plan!

Agreement 2

Don't Take Anything Personally - I understand that this agreement was referring to what others say and do, however in the context of this blog I wanted to make this following point: The Universe works the way that the Universe works, it is not personal! Everyone is challenged by discipline and the difficulty of maintaining focused thought. Yet it is the way to alter reality in a Holographic Universe.

Agreement 3

Don't Make Assumptions - Find the courage to ask questions, the new generation of marketing that seeks permission from, and listens to (potential) clients is the path of discipline itself. It requires that you build a relationship over time, have an ongoing conversation, with consumers. Communicate with others, yourself and the Universe as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstanding, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement you can completely transform your life.

Always Do Your Best - As Jay says, if you want something bad enough you will figure it out! When you awake in the morning do what you have to do first, do the work, circumstantial things (excuses) have no relevance, pleasure is irrelevant. Live your message to you the Universe for as you know seeing is not believing, believing is seeing.

Who Holds Responsibility For The Reality That You Experience?

In his book 2 days with Seth Godin, Tom Morkes quotes Godin as saying:

Be remarkable. Be memorable. Be something and do something that many people will hate and that others can't live without

This is the motivation for my thinking today, for surely the most powerful gift a person can be given is the power and responsibility for the building of personal experience and reality, but yet the most threatening, challenging thing that I can do is ultimately take responsibility for the creation of everything and all I experience.

I Am The Whole Reality Of Everything That I Experience.

Seeing ourselves as mere skin encapsulated beings and nothing beyond is only one level of perception. The problem with that level of perception of course is that it is always in and of it self dis- empowering. It dis- empowers precisely because if all reality happens outside of you your ability to fundamentally alter it is extremely limited.

Meta Politics

What are Meta Politics? Meta is a Greek preposition meaning after, beyond, adjacent, self.  However in English and other Greek owing languages 'Meta'  is used to indicate a concept which is an abstraction from another concept used to complete or add to another. To put this simply then I am talking of Politics in the abstract, what it means to be political. Politics appears to be organised around different and competing ideas about the distribution of resources, and the expression of ethics. Often it expresses fear of lack and manifests as an inability to provide for all. Politics expresses itself as a mass denial of responsibility, everything that is perceived as wrong is someone else's fault (another political party, a leader, a union, the ruling class etc). It is dualistic as it sets people against each other in a never ending debate that rarely reaches a conclusion. Politics is a cultural story of national and international consciousness, it takes from its norms and religions concepts of right and wrong and imposes variations of themes over and over again expressing them as reality.

What if...

1. I see political leaders as an expression of national and international consciousness of which my mind and perceptions and inextricably linked?
2. I see political problems world wide as an extension of what I need to heal within?
3. The only solution to political difficulties at whatever level start with the spiritual and emotional journey of reaching my potential in every area of my life?
4. By reaching my spiritual/emotional potential I am the stone that causes the ripples of change in the pond of collective human consciousness?
5. The Mystics are right and the whole universe is just the expression of mind, we change our mind we change our experience?

   A paper published by researchers from both Kings College London and the University of Barcelona (La Universidad de Barcelona) in July this year entitled: 'A Pathway in the Brain that allows humans to learn new words' http://www.kurzweilai.net/a-pathway-in-the-brain-that-allows-humans-to-learn-new-words found that a collection of nerve fibres connecting the sounds of words to the parts of the brain responsible for articulating them . The sound of words and the ability to create new neural pathways and decoding and understanding of language was clearly demonstrated in this research.

Thoughts on Creativity and New Neural Pathways

Creativity has been thought to be either a right hemisphere of the brain activity or a balance between the two sides of the brain. Maybe this is to do with the definitions of how we use the concept of creativity which at times are very different indeed. The first way is that flash of inspiration, bringing with it that 'ah ha moment' and pleasure from the neuro-transmitters of serotonin and dopamine and the other the challenging process of using the full brain to focus the attention, belief and action on creating an idea in material form. It seems however that whilst the 'ah ah moment' can be useful it is the continuous focus of the other that brings about the real change in one's reality that we call creativity. Work in 2009 at the University of Tsukuba in Japan on neural networks involved in artistic creativity, confirmed that training (focus of attention, belief, action...my emphasis) brings balance to the hemispheres and increases creativity via reorganized hemisphere communication.

Loosely then we have two recent studies that demonstrate the prominence of one or more senses (sound in the first study, external) and (visualization, kin-aesthetics, internal,focus, attention, belief) in the second, as the primary experience that biologically alters the brain to bring about creativity and change. Sound and Creation We are told in many of our religious texts that sound is at the beginning of creation. The Hindus recite the sound OHM as the sound that started the Universe, the Muslims recognize that the Universe started with the word of Allah, the Old Testament and the Torah tell us 'In the beginning God said let there be light' and the New Testament of the Christians tell us 'In the beginning there was the Word'. 

Sacred Sound   

 Hindus, Buddhists, Catholic Monks among others utilize sacred sound with the express intention of changing their experience of reality or indeed reality itself. Many of us practice affirmation (or incantation as Tony Robbins calls his version which includes full emotional body experience as well as sound) to bring about change intentionally. These practices are as old as the hills

 Visualization, focus, belief and action 

Much of the journey of the new forms of internet marketing require visualization and identification of goals and hypnosis and time line therapy work with internal visualization to start the process of change. As with other blogs referring to the Law of Attraction the message here is if you wish to change your reality you can literally change your mind and brain with focused  visualization and following up with energy and concentration towards your desired aims.

To conclude, it seems that science, spirituality and the laws of success are all beginning to say the same things. Sound, visualization, focus, attention, belief and constant energy towards the goal changes the neural pathways and the experience of reality.

Abundance, Money and Spiritual Growth

Spiritual Growth Conscious effort is the forward movement for spiritual growth. When we expand the growth of our true spirit, the natural progression is abundance in many areas of an individual's life. This also includes attitudes toward money and financial growth. How do we grow in spirit to create abundance in daily living? 

The spirit of each person is unique. Spirit is that indefinable entity within each of us. It's the deepest well inside that is linked to fate and destiny. It's not necessary to stoically accept fate. Fate can be changed upon the realization that all life has no direct route. This is how the path to abundance is more clearly recognized. It's the zigzagging of all the days of our lives that offer opportunities when we allow our spirits to soar to new heights beyond fate and destiny.

Abundance, Money and Spiritual Growth 

There are two anomalies to the state of abundance. The first is linked to misunderstanding of abundance. The second is linked to misuse of abundance. We create abundance through growth of the spirit when we fully understand abundance is not always related to materialism. Abundance misused can result in harshest consequences. Tempered with an innate sense of responsibility, abundance will naturally magnetize itself to most any human being.

Try to describe what abundance may exist in your particular life. Be careful of associating excess with abundance. Excess is, in reality, the major misunderstanding and misuse of abundance. Your life can be abundant without being excessive. Study the difference between the two. The third element of spiritual growth is power. Money is powerful. In spiritual growth, humans propel themselves toward good rather than evil. Money is neither good nor evil. The idea of wealth can be good or evil as it emanates from the human mind. When you can clearly define and use abundance to maximize growth spiritually, you also direct the course of good and evil in your life. To amass a fortune for no purpose other than amassing such fortune omits the basic need to grow in spirit. Financial Abundance Is a Demonstration of Growth Spiritually

Financial abundance directed toward the growth of the spirit is demonstrated most often by those who understand the concept of reciprocity. Financial abundance and the growth of the spirit are similar in one respect: Both are deep wells. Like all wells, they can run dry or be constantly filled with an abundance of water. This is where the concept of reciprocity begins. In order for financial abundance to remain abundant, the well must be replenished. In order for the spirit to grow, it must be spiritually replenished. When the well is too abundant, it overflows, spilling forth, causing untold damage and flooding. The wisdom of financial abundance is to continuously replenish the well from which financial abundance comes in an act of spiritual reciprocity. This is a simple lesson in "Abundance In, Abundance Out." Financial abundance is largely dependent on the growth of your individual spirit and ability demonstrate your growth.
